After submitting your resume through our website, our team of Consultants will review your qualifications and experience to see if there is a match with a current opening. If we have a suitable position for you, a Consultant will reach out to you to schedule a personal one-on-one interview to learn more about you. In some cases a Consultant may reach out to a candidate that stands out from the crowd, even though a matching position may not be available at the time. Because Headhunters receives new positions from our clients daily, we want to make sure we have the information we need to quickly accelerate your application to our client when the right fit comes along.
Please be patient through the process and remember to utilize several resources as you conduct your job search. And of course feel free to email firstname.lastname@example.org or call your Consultant if you haven’t heard from us in a while.
Absolutely! Please view a list of our available positions here. However, if you have sent us a copy of your CV and have not received a call from us as yet, it is most likely because we currently do not have a position that matches your previous or current work experience. Be sure to keep an active eye on our website’s jobs page and follow us on Twitter (@HeadhuntersSA), Facebook or LinkedIn as we post openings to these locations regularly. If a position comes up that interests you, let us know!
We value your time and as such want to maximize your first visit as much as possible. Along with the first face-to-face interview with Headhunters, we will want you to fill out all the necessary paperwork required to be assigned to a placement. Please bring a copy of your Qualification Documents, Driver’s License, ID, most recent payslip. Please ensure the CV submitted to Headhunters is an updated CV, alternatively, please ensure you bring a copy of your updated CV along with you.
Because of the strict regulations around employment eligibility verification, we are required to examine the original document. We will make a photocopy of the ID when you arrive at our office.
Remember the Tip: Dress for the job you want, not the job you have when being interviewed. You also don’t get a 2nd chance at making a 1st impression, so as with any interview situation, how you present yourself speaks volumes about you. Dress professionally and let your qualifications and experience showcase the rest.
Headhunters’ Primary focus is on permanent recruitment as we are not a temporary agency or labour broker.
When you see a position you’re interested in, please ensure that you take into account all the requirements of the position. We unfortunately do not accept general applications or hand delivered CV’s due to the volumes of general CV’s received. Our website is our “online order book”. Once you’ve submitted your application, the Consultant handling the specific position you’re interested in will review your application and contact you within 1 – 7 working days of your CV submission, to schedule a meeting with you. If you do not receive feedback within 2 weeks of submission please consider your application unsuccessful and kindly keep an eye on our website and other career sites for future opportunities that may arise.
When applying for graduate positions, be sure to put your best foot forward as your qualification and results will in this case be the focus point; therefore please forward your CV highlighting your achievements, a cover page to motivate why you are the best candidate, your qualification including your full academic transcript.
Because of the volume of CV’s we receive, we do not accept general applications, so the best thing to do is to complete the questionnaire (Click Here to Download) on our website and forward to firstname.lastname@example.org once complete. We will then add your details to our database and when one of the Consultants run searches for suitable candidates that match our client’s requirements, the Consultant will then pick your particulars up. This questionnaire must be completed thoroughly and accurately to ensure that the Consultants searches through our database bring up the correct results. Please keep an active eye on our website – we keep our site up-to-date, and if there are any suitable positions which grab your attention, please contact our offices to speak to the Consultant you initially met with to discuss whether your experience meets the requirements of the position. The Consultant will then market your CV forward once again.
We are a boutique agency, and yet we receive close to 700 CV’s per day, which as I’m sure you can imagine, makes it impossible for us to meet with every candidate’s CV we receive. Because so many applications come through generally and for vacancies available, it is impossible to keep every application emailed through to us, we therefore add you to our database once you come in for an interview at Headhunters, or after you submit your fully completed questionnaire to us.
