Our client in the Automotive Manufacturing industry is seeking to employ a Financial Analyst to join their team based in Sandton, Gauteng.

Requirements:
  • National Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent

  • Postgraduate qualification in Finance, Accounting, or Business Management (advantageous)

  • Minimum 3–5 years' financial experience, preferably within the motor or related industry

  • Strong business acumen and understanding of financial principles

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • High attention to detail and accuracy

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work independently and take accountability for deliverables

  • Strong collaboration skills across cross-functional teams

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

  • Demonstrated initiative, innovation, and resourcefulness

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct financial feasibility studies and vehicle pricing analysis

  • Ensure accurate pricing of new products and support approval processes

  • Analyse and monitor vehicle price indices and forecast versus actual costs

  • Prepare product cost information for budgeting and medium-term planning

  • Maintain business models and update head office reporting systems

  • Support pricing implementation for vehicle options, packages, and ad hoc requests

  • Evaluate, reconcile, and report on dealer, rental, and government incentives

  • Prepare RT57 tenders, rental proposals, and pricing submissions

  • Compile quarterly pricing and tender meeting documentation

  • Manage incentive budgets, provisions, overhead allocations, and fixed cost allocations

  • Support financial reporting and compliance with local and international requirements
