Description Requirements:
  •  A NQL Level 6 qualification in HR Management, Labour Law or related fields. 
  • Must have at least 5 years working experience in a manufacturing environment. 
  • Have at least 2 years working experience on all the Microsoft Office packages. 
Responsibilities:
  • Providing support in recruitment and selection process by developing job descriptions, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and providing guidance on selection criteria.
  • Developing HR policies and procedures in line with relevant legislation and best practice to ensure compliance with the law, protect the interests of the organization, and foster a positive work culture.
  • Developing and implementing performance management systems, including setting goals and objectives, conducting performance appraisals, and providing feedback and coaching to employees.
  • Ensuring that the organization complies with employment legislation.
  • Conducting compensation and benefits reviews and providing advice on best practice for payment structures to ensure that organizations remain competitive.
  • Maintaining HR systems and databases, generating reports, and ensuring data accuracy.
  • Preparation and participation in all Employment Equity duties and functions as well as compilation of annual EE report submissions and compilation of EE Plan.
  • Assist in BBBEE audits and ensure that all relevant information is tracked and evaluated.
  • General support to Employees and Management in all Human Resources related issues.
  • Conducting general counselling for work related processes i.e. return to work interviews, absenteeism counselling.
  • Take responsibility for all EAP initiatives on site to ensure employee motivation and wellbeing.
  • Assist in ensuring the absenteeism policy is adhered to with consistent discipline, employee engagement and reporting.
  • Development of new KPAs in conjunction with relevant HOD.  
  • Ensure each employee has a KPA and that it is current.
  • Ensure that all monthly reporting is done timeously and efficiently.
  • Supporting the HR Manager in all areas deemed appropriate and in accordance with departmental objectives.
