Requirements:
- BEng Civil Engineering or BSc Civil Engineering qualification
- 4–6 years’ relevant engineering experience
- Experience in structural design and analysis
- Experience working on residential, commercial, and/or industrial projects
- Ability to effectively manage and run projects from inception through to completion
- Strong technical and analytical skills
- Good understanding of structural engineering principles, design standards, and construction practices
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned projects
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional and client-focused approach
- Registration as a Professional Engineer is advantageous but not essential
Responsibilities:
- Manage and execute structural engineering projects from concept through to completion
- Perform structural analysis, calculations, and design
- Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and reports
- Develop practical and cost-effective structural engineering solutions
- Coordinate with clients, architects, contractors, and other engineering disciplines
- Monitor project progress, budgets, and deliverables
- Conduct site inspections and provide technical support during construction
- Review designs and ensure compliance with relevant engineering standards and regulations
- Identify and resolve technical and structural challenges
- Provide engineering input across residential, commercial, and industrial projects
- Ensure projects are delivered to the required quality, time, and technical standards
