Description	Our client, a prominent engineering business is looking to employ an experienced Electrical Designer, based in Port Elizabeth. Candidates must have either a B-Tech / B-Eng degree in Electrical Engineering / Mechatronics or similar qualification to secure. Requirements: B-Tech / B-Eng degree in Electrical Engineering / Mechatronics or similar qualification. Valid driver's license essential. 2-5 years’ experience in electrical circuit and automation design of machinery and PLC Equipment. Electrical CAD package knowledge will be advantageous. E-plan P8 is preferred. Experience with Electrical Drives and Machinery. Experience in Siemens TIA Portal, Step 7, Alternate PLC programming software, Allen Bradley compact Logix will be an advantage but not a requirement. Responsibilities, but not limited to: Design electrical circuits for automation systems according to prescribed standards. Electrical commissioning of equipment. Electrical Panel layout. Producing detailed electrical automation drawings. Provide technical support during building processes, customer support, support on imported equipment and technical support for technicians on-site.
