Description	Our client in the Production, Manufacturing, and FMCG sector, based in Humansdorp, is currently looking to employ an experienced Services Technician to join their team. Qualified Electrician (Trade Test Certified) and minimum of 8 years of post-qualification experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting, secures. An awesome career opportunity awaits. Requirements: Qualified Electrician (Trade Test Certified). Minimum of 8 years of post-qualification experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting. Strong understanding and hands-on experience with: Electrical installations and equipment. Transformers, PFCs, Substations, MCCs. Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose electrical systems efficiently. Experience with routine maintenance in large-scale utilities environments. Experience in a dairy, beverage, or food processing plant. Familiarity with ammonia refrigeration systems Knowledge of HACCP, GMPs, or food industry compliance standards. Strong documentation and computer literacy skills. Responsibilities: Conduct preventative and routine maintenance of utility systems, including: Water treatment plants. Compressed air systems. Boilers. Ammonia refrigeration plants. Cold and freezer rooms. Air Handling Units (AHUs). Cooling towers. Electrical systems and transformers Diagnose and repair electrical faults in transformers, Power Factor Correction systems (PFC), substations, and MCCs. Respond to breakdowns and conduct after-hours standby duties when required. Ensure adherence to all safety protocols and compliance with relevant legislation. Read and interpret technical drawings and electrical schematics. Collaborate with production and engineering teams to minimize equipment downtime. Maintain accurate maintenance and service records.
