Our client in the IT industry is currently looking to employ a Software Development Team Lead, based in Platterkloof, Cape Town.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years in a leadership role.

• Strong architecture and DevOps experience.

• CRM/CMS systems background.

• Proficiency in:

  • C# (.NET 9), ASP.NET Core (MVC, Web API, Razor, Blazor)

  • VB.NET (Windows Forms, WPF, console apps)

  • Microsoft MAUI (cross-platform mobile & desktop)

  • Entity Framework Core (code-first, migrations, LINQ)

  • PHP 7/8/8.1 with Composer

  • T-SQL (complex stored procedures)

Primary Responsibilities:

• Lead a talented software team to deliver business-critical applications.

• Drive innovation from concept to deployment.

• Oversee the full software development lifecycle.

• Implement and maintain coding standards and best practices.

• Manage and mentor developers to improve skills and productivity.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to define system requirements and solutions.

• Ensure systems are secure, scalable, and meet performance targets.

• Coordinate DevOps processes including CI/CD, testing, and deployment.

• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software.

• Prepare technical documentation for internal and external use.

• Manage deadlines and deliverables through effective communication and planning.

• This is an office-based role; no remote work option is available.
