Our client in the IT Industry based in Port Elizabeth is currently looking to employ a Business Development Manager to join their team based in Port Elizabeth.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years’ proven track record in B2B sales (IT, telecoms, or technology-related industry preferred).

• Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed performance-based sales targets.

• Basic understanding of IT services such as cybersecurity, cloud solutions, or managed support (technical expertise not required, but the ability to sell the value is essential).

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

• Experience using CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, ConnectWise, or similar) to manage opportunities and track performance.

• Knowledge of the Port Elizabeth/Eastern Cape business market is highly advantageous.

Responsibilities and expectations but not limited to:

• Hunt New Business: Identify and target businesses facing IT challenges. Build a strong sales pipeline.

• Solve Real Problems: Engage with clients to understand their pain points and position IT services as the solution.

• Close Deals: Manage the full sales process from prospecting through to signed agreements, with technical and marketing support available to back your efforts.

• Grow Revenue: Focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets, driving revenue growth through new client acquisition.
