Our Client, a prominent national group, is seeking to employ an experienced Regional Business Development Manager to their Johannesburg based team.

To secure : A minimum of 7 years experience in a sales leadership role coupled with a client base / network that frames the short term insurance sector.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 7 years in sales leadership within the insurance sector.
• Proven success in managing sales teams and driving regional growth.
• Established network within the insurance ecosystem (brokers, underwriters and clients).
• Experience with CRM systems and data-driven sales management.
• Familiarity with both B2B and B2C insurance models.

Responsibilities, but not limited to:

• Develop and execute regional sales strategies aligned with national objectives.
• Manage and expand relationships with brokers, agents and corporate clients.
• Identify new business opportunities and emerging market trends.
• Lead, coach and motivate a team of sales consultants to achieve KPIs.
• Monitor competitor activity and adjust tactics accordingly.
• Collaborate with underwriting, claims and marketing teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Prepare and present monthly sales performance reports to executive leadership.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks (FSCA, FAIS, POPIA).
