Our client in the ICT / Technology Solutions industry is seeking to employ an  to join their team based in Cape Town.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5+ years’ proven experience as an IT Engineer, Systems Administrator, or similar role.

• Strong knowledge of networking: LAN/WAN, firewalls, VPN, routing, and switching.

• Solid experience with Microsoft technologies: Windows Server, Active Directory, Office 365, Exchange, Azure.

• Virtualization experience: VMware and/or Hyper-V.

• Backup and disaster recovery experience.

• Security systems knowledge: firewalls, endpoint protection, monitoring tools.

• Relevant certifications highly advantageous: MCSE, CCNA, CCNP, Azure, VMware.

• Strong problem-solving and project management skills.

• Excellent communication and client-facing skills.

Responsibilities, but not limited to:

• Provide advanced technical support, troubleshooting, and problem resolution across IT systems and infrastructure for internal users and clients.

• Implement, manage, and maintain servers, networking, cloud solutions, and security systems.

• Plan, design, and execute ICT projects for clients and internal operations.

• Ensure systems availability, performance monitoring, and proactive maintenance.

• Lead and mentor junior staff, providing technical guidance and support.

• Liaise with clients to deliver tailored ICT solutions that meet business requirements.

• Maintain documentation, policies, and best practices to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.
