Description

Our client in the manufacturing industry based in Kwa - Zulu Natal is seeking a driven and results-focused Sales Representative: ACC to grow market share, drive revenue, and strengthen customer relationships.

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Sales and Marketing or equivalent (NQF 6) - Advantageous
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Sales Representative
  • Manufacturing industry experience preferred
  • MS Office (Basic)
  • SAP

Responsibilities:

Sales and Business Administration (60%)

  • Implement sales initiatives aligned to ACC plan and budget

  • Provide monthly sales and business feedback to the Business Manager: ACC

  • Analyse customer buying patterns to meet sales targets

  • Monitor monthly sales per customer

  • Extract and analyse daily SAP sales data against targets and implement corrective action where required

  • Maintain accurate SAP and customer master data

  • Introduce and drive marketing and promotional initiatives aligned with company strategy

  • Host trade evenings and promotional events

  • Initiate and monitor promotional campaigns

  • Assist with credit applications and collaborate with Debtors on collections

  • Ensure outstanding debtors remain below 45 days

  • Resolve or escalate customer queries according to company policy

  • Attend monthly SBO meetings with Regional Manager

Compliance (10%)

  • Operate within company controls and procedures

  • Identify and report risks within area of responsibility

  • Ensure compliance with financial and operational regulations

  • Minimise wasteful or irregular expenditure

Customer Service (20%)

  • Maintain strong working relationships with customers and internal stakeholders

  • Conduct regular discussions with CIC and stakeholders to ensure customer query resolution

  • Provide product presentations and technical training to customers

  • Support customer liaison activities and update customer information

  • Provide POS materials, product stands, claims assistance, and rotation training
