Our client in the FMCG industry is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Junior HR Generalist to support the day-to-day HR operations of the business. The successful candidate will assist with a wide range of HR functions, ensuring smooth and efficient HR processes while supporting employees and management.

Driver's license essential!

Minimum Requirements

• Relevant qualification in Human Resources or related field
• 2+ years’ experience in a similar HR role
• Basic knowledge of labour legislation and HR best practices
• Experience with payroll processes (weekly payroll experience advantageous)
• Strong administrative and organisational skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally

Additional Information

Key Responsibilities

Duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Provide general HR administrative support across the business
• Draft, issue, and maintain employee contracts and HR documentation
• Manage and process weekly payroll accurately and timeously
• Coordinate disciplinary processes and labour hearings, including attending and taking notes when required
• Support staff skills development initiatives and training programmes
• Facilitate and assist with health and safety training
• Travel locally to various outlets to assist with onboarding and support of new staff
• Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures
