Our client in the Logistics Industry, based in Camperdown, KwaZulu-Natal is currently looking to employ a Recruitment Officer to their team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the full recruitment lifecycle, with a strong focus on sourcing, screening, and onboarding drivers and logistics staff while ensuring compliance with operational and regulatory standards.

Requirements:

• 3–5 years’ experience in recruitment (logistics or transport preferred)
• A valid tertiary education
• Proven experience recruiting drivers and fleet staff
• Strong knowledge of driver licence requirements (Code 10 and Code 14)
• Experience with PDP verification
• Experience in high-volume recruitment
• Strong administrative and organisational skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Experience in vehicle logistics or automotive supply chain
• Knowledge of labour legislation and recruitment compliance
• Experience working with OEM standards
• Valid driver’s licence

Responsibilities:

Recruitment and Talent Sourcing

• Manage full recruitment cycle for drivers and logistics staff
• Source candidates through job portals, referrals, and local networks
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates

Screening and Assessments

• Conduct interviews and pre-employment screening
• Verify driver licences, PDP, and references
• Assess candidate suitability based on role requirements

Compliance and Onboarding

• Ensure all hires meet company and client compliance standards
• Coordinate onboarding and induction processes
• Maintain accurate recruitment and employee records

Stakeholder Coordination

• Collaborate with operations teams to understand staffing needs
• Support workforce planning during peak operational periods
