Our client in the Manufacturing sector is looking to employ a Finance Clerk to join their team, based at their Head Office in Tzaneen, Limpopo.

Requirements:

• Finance Diploma or currently studying towards one
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a financial environment
• Proficiency in Excel (intermediate preferred)
• Experience with Sage and/or IQ Retail (advantageous)
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles

Responsibilities:

Financial Processing and Reconciliations

• Process daily cashbook transactions
• Perform weekly and monthly bank reconciliations
• Investigate and clear reconciling items
• Prepare and assist with cash flow reporting
• Verify financial transactions in line with company policies

Accounts and Payments

• Capture and process invoices for payment
• Prepare and verify payment documentation
• Follow up on outstanding financial documents
• Assist with creditors and general ledger reconciliations

Administrative Support

• Maintain an organised filing system for financial records
• Ensure confidentiality and security of financial information
• Assist with fixed asset register maintenance
• Support the finance team with ad hoc duties
