Our client, a well-established organisation operating within the manufacturing industry, is seeking to employ an experienced Finance Clerk to join their team based in Johannesburg. This is a hybrid role that may require work in Pretoria.

Requirements 

• Matric
• Knowledge in the area of financial statement preparation, budgeting, payroll, purchasing, accounts payable and accounts receivable or the equivalent
• Experience working with an automated financial management system
• Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in Finance
• Good knowledge of Excel
• Accounts payable and receivable
• An understanding of relevant financial legislation policies and procedures

Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

• Processing bills, transactions, and credits
• Verifying account information and bills, and resolving any discrepancies or errors
• Keeping organized records
• Preparing documents
• Maintains customer’s financial information
• Maintains vendors’ financial information and files
• Assists in posting journal entries into the accounting software
