Our Client, a prominent name in the Manufacturing Industry, is seeking to employ 2x Tool Maker's, to their team based in Uitenhage.

Requirements:

• Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings.
• Skilled in the use of precision measuring instruments.
• Good computer literacy.
• Strong communication and time management skills.
• Flexible and willing to work shifts and overtime when required.
• Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
• Sound understanding of manufacturing and machining principles.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as within a team environment.

Responsibilities, but not limited to:

• Maintain, repair, and service bumper tools used in production.
• Set up and operate conventional lathes, milling machines, and surface grinders.
• Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and CAD files for tooling components.
• Conduct measurements and inspections using precision instruments, including micrometers, calipers, gauges, and CMMs.
• Troubleshoot tooling issues and perform root cause analysis to identify and resolve problems.
• Collaborate with design, production, and maintenance teams to ensure tooling meets production requirements.
• Modify tooling to improve efficiency and support design enhancements.
• Maintain accurate records of tool maintenance and usage.
• Adhere to safety procedures and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
