Our client in the branding and visual display industry is looking to employ a Layout Artist to join their team based in Johannesburg North.

Requirements:

• National Diploma in Graphic Design
• 3–4 years' experience in graphic design within the branding industry
• Experience in display branding advantageous
• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator
• Proficient in Adobe Photoshop
• Strong communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Customer service orientated
• Strong problem-solving ability
• Analytical thinker
• Strong work ethic

Responsibilities:

• Create layouts for client approval
• Prepare print-ready files for production
• Liaise with sales representatives and clients regarding artwork requirements
• Redraw and recreate logos when required
• Ensure artwork meets production specifications
• Maintain high levels of accuracy and quality in all design work
• Meet required turnaround times on layouts and print files
• Minimise artwork and production errors
