Description	Our client in the automotive component manufacturing industry based in Port Elizabeth is currently looking to employ a Machine Shop Robotics Engineer. Requirements: Tertiary education in the field of engineering (ND or BTech). Qualified Trade Tested Artisan Advantageous. 5 Years Robotics experience with regards to programming, commissioning, fault finding and implementation of any robotics application. Programming experience in Gantry and PLC integrated systems. Understanding and program of Vision systems and distortion machines. Daily cycle optimization. Continuous improvement in production. Production/ technical support. Responsibilities: Programming and optimization for all robotic/ gantry requirements (KUKA, FANUC and Promot). Debug any robotic programming and equipment. CNC Communication, interfacing, and implementation. CNC Robotic Cell Automation and Maintenance. Knowledge and understanding of Vision Systems and implementation of the system. Knowledge and understanding of PLC interfaces (Siemens, Allen Bradley, Beckhoff). Please consider your application unsuccessfully should you not receive a response within 2 weeks of applying.
