Description	Our client in the Direct Response / Retail industry is looking to employ a Junior Graphic Designer to join their team based in Sandton Johannesburg. Please note, this position is based onsite (not remote). Salary: R15 000 CTC An awesome career opportunity awaits! Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or equivalent experience. Matric. 2-5 years of working experience as a Graphic Designer. Must have worked with Die-Lines. Retail Artwork design experience and Point of Sale. Creative skills. Have a strong, well-rounded portfolio that showcases individual design aesthetic. 2-5 years’ experience with Artwork, Packaging, Colour-retouching from start to finish. Must have experience with InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop (ideally the whole Adobe suite) Knowledge of design techniques and creating lifestyles. Time management and multitasking abilities. A talent for creating from concept and problem-solving. Understanding of visual elements (layout, type, fonts, CMYK composites), Adhere to project deadlines, build mock-ups and can work with vinyl. Proofreading to produce accurate and high-quality work. Have an active interest in art/design and passionate about the work you deliver. Duties and Responsibilities: Working as part of a team with printers, copywriters, photographers, stylists, illustrators, other designers, account executives, web developers and marketing specialists. Plans concept and illustrates concept by designing rough layout of art and copy regarding arrangement, size, type size and style, and related aesthetic concepts. Packaging design as per a CI Designing Marketing Content – online and print. Assisting Senior Designer with finalizing artwork. Finalizing IM. Assisting Internal divisions with Imaging requirements based on Retailers / Online Retailers requirements (could be requested to liaise with Retailers directly regarding imaging requirements). Will be exposed to a diverse field of products and tasks which will ensure growth in terms of skill and knowledge.
